Title Track: Infected with the Blues
Of the originals, the title track "Infected with the Blues" was inspired by people assuming that Spencer Mackenzie is too young to play the blues and goes on to explain how the music is just running through his veins and that he didn’t choose the blues; the blues chose him.

Goodbye Lucille
Goodbye Lucille is a tender love song dedicated to Mr. B.B. King. It is a song about what he might have said or expressed to his guitar on his last day living. This song means a lot to me as Mr. B.B. King was one of my greatest influences.

2017 Maple Blues Awards Post Jam

Spencer Mackenzie learns a valuable lesson from Shakura S'Aida while jamming with Jerome Godboo, Brooke Blackburn, Shawn Kellerman, Michael Fonfara and Michael Kaeshahammer at the 2017 Maple Blues Awards after party. This is a must see!

Honoured to have been invited up to perform one of my favourite Freddie King songs 'Going Down' with Steve Strongman and his band at his 7th Annual Christmas Show at the Bay City Music Hall. Thanks to Bruce Hall for the video!
