Baptized by Cold Water- Spencer Mackenzie (Live From the Empire Theatre)
Baptized by Cold Water is a song written by Spencer Mackenzie, and co-writer Rich Mackenzie, to symbolize the struggles the Native American people went through at Standing Rock during the Dakota Access Pipeline Protest. It signifies their fierce struggle to be caretakers of their land. If you take anything away from this song, take away the strength and courage to stand up and fight for what you believe in.
